Bushido
students or their parents may make their monthly tuition payment early,
pay in advance or pay off their account in full at www.efconlinepayments.com. You would need to know your account number in order to do this. You may get your account number from the Karate school office.
Attention Orange Belts
As
an orange belt, please be aware that one of the requirements to be able
to test for your blue belt is that you have to be sparring in class.
Thus, you need safety gear. Minimum sparring equipment consists of head,
hand and foot gear along with a mouthpiece. Shin guards are also highly
recommended. One of the benefits of joining the Black Belt Club is that
you receive all of this safety equipment along with much, much more in
your Black Belt Club package. If you have received an invitation to join
the Black Belt Club, but you have not made an appointment to discuss
joining with Mr. Taylor yet, please simply contact the school office. It
is at least worth talking about. We look forward to hearing from you.
Attention Home School Parents
Beginning Tuesday, October 4th,
we will be offering a Home School kid’s class (Junior Class, not Kinder
Karate Kids) at our Broad St. location. This class will meet every
Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00am. Home School kids only.
Bad Weather Policy
Anytime
you are not sure whether the Karate School will be open or not due to
the weather, please simply call the school to find out. There will
either be someone there to answer your questions, or there will be a
very clear message on the answering machine stating that we will be
closed due to ice or snowy conditions. Just because schools may be
closed, doesn’t necessarily mean the Karate school will be closed.
The Brittany Project 7th Annual Christmas Tree & Decoration Drive
Both
BSK locations will be accepting donations for The Brittany Project 7th
Annual Christmas Tree & Decoration Drive. The program provides
Christmas trees, ornaments, tree skirts and tree toppers to low-income
families, including homeless families living in local motels. We will be
accepting donations November 1 - December 8, during normal business
hours. If you are interested in volunteering for organization or
delivery, please email Kim Maxwell at info@thebrittanyproject.org for more information.
The following are the ONLY items needed for this year's drive:
New or Very Gently used Shatterproof Ornaments
New or Very Gently used Tree Toppers
New or Very Gently used Tree Skirts
New Tree Lights in 100, 150 or 300 Count Boxes
New 6ft or Longer Extension Cords
Please
make sure all Gently Used items are not broken, tarnished, discolored,
stained, ripped, torn, have all parts in working order and are securely

Christmas SALE!!!
We will be having a Christmas Sale at our Broad St. location on Friday, November 18th from 10:30 am – 7pm, and also at our Business Campus Dr. location on Saturday, November 19th from 9am – 1pm. Students and parents from both schools may shop at either location.
We
will have many items we normally don’t carry in stock, available on
these days. Some items will be discounted up to 50% off. We will have
Wave Master punching bags, Belt Display Racks, Kicking Shields, Hand
Targets, Uniforms, Sparring Gear, Gear Bags, Bo Staff, Nunchaku, Swords,
Christmas Tree Ornaments, Stocking Stuffers, Key Chains and much more.
All
items will be discounted from their normal retail pricing, and if we
don’t have it, you can order it from the Century Catalog. If you would
like to look through a catalog ahead of time, please stop by the office
to ask for one. Catalogs will be on display around the school as well.

Closed for Thanksgiving
Both locations will be closed Wed. Nov. 23rd through Sat. Nov. 26th for Thanksgiving Holiday. We hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving.
