Attention
Orange Belts
As an orange belt, please
be aware that one of the requirements to be able to test for your
blue belt is that you have to be sparring in class. Thus, you need
safety gear. Minimum sparring equipment consists of head, hand and
foot gear along with a mouthpiece. Shin guards are also highly
recommended. One of the benefits of joining the Black Belt Club is
that you receive all of this safety equipment along with much, much
more in your Black Belt Club package. If you have received an
invitation to join the Black Belt Club, but you have not made an
appointment to discuss joining with Mr. Taylor yet, please simply
contact the school office. It is at least worth talking about. We
look forward to hearing from you.
Bad
Weather Policy
Anytime you are not sure
whether the Karate School will be open or not due to the weather,
please simply call the school to find out. There will either be
someone there to answer your questions, or there will be a very clear
message on the answering machine stating that we will be closed due
to ice or snowy conditions. Just because schools may be closed,
doesn’t necessarily mean the Karate school will be closed.

in a tangle?
Feeling
a little stressed from the holidays?
Join
Jennifer Taylor for a “Relax and Restore” Deep Stretch Class.
This hour class will move through a series of fluid and static
stretches to build flexibility and release tension. The class will
finish with a short meditation. Bring a mat and a water bottle.
*Open
to Adult Black Belt Club members, Cardio Kickboxing Students, and all
parents of students are welcome.
