Bushido
students or their parents may make their monthly tuition payment early,
pay in advance or pay off their account in full at www.efconlinepayments.com. You would need to know your account number in order to do this. You may get your account number from the Karate school office.
Attention Orange Belts
As an orange belt, please be aware that one of the requirements to be
able to test for your blue belt is that you have to be sparring in
class. Thus, you need safety gear. Minimum sparring equipment consists
of head, hand and foot gear along with a mouthpiece. Shin guards are
also highly recommended. One of the benefits of joining the Black Belt
Club is that you receive all of this safety equipment along with much,
much more in your Black Belt Club package. If you have received an
invitation to join the Black Belt Club, but you have not made an
appointment to discuss joining with Mr. Taylor yet, please simply
contact the school office. It is at least worth talking about. We look
forward to hearing from you.

Taylor would like to thank the students and instructors who helped with
the Special Kids Camp Ability class on Friday, July 15th. Thank you to
Mr. Wommack and JJ Deo, who helped with our July class. Special thanks
to Ethan Moos, Elvira Deo, Diego Taylor and Gabe Taylor, who helped
teach ALL 3 classes during June and July. Thank you to Bebe Faulkner,
who helped with our June class.

Picture Time!!!
We
will be having Harrison Photography at our schools again to take
student photos. The photographer will be at our Business Campus Dr.
facility on Wed. Aug. 24th and Thurs. Aug. 25th. He will be at our Broad
St. facility on Fri. Aug. 26th and Sat. Aug. 27th. Pictures are taken
by appointment only. You may schedule an appointment time by stopping by
the office to see what is available. The earlier you schedule your
appointment, the more choices you will have. These are studio quality
portraits. Finished portraits will be returned within 3 weeks.
Participants will be included in a beautiful wall display. We’d like
every student to have their photo taken, as we are going to have new
composites made to hang in the lobby, and we want every student
represented.
Tournament Results!!
Thank
you to everyone who competed in, or volunteered to assist at our July
tournament. 90 young people brought their best effort and put it on the
line at our tournament! Thanks to all these young people for showing a
true Bushido Attitude…..”The Way of the Warrior”!
Special
thanks to Alexa Powers’ parents, Christopher and Brooke Powers, who
grilled hotdogs for everyone. It was a HOT day and we really appreciate
the Powers helping with our fundraiser.
We
also owe thanks to everyone who volunteered as a Ring Center, judge or

raised $1000 for the Heaven Sent Children’s Angel Fund and also
collected $500 with our spectator donation buckets, for a Grand Total of
$1500!!

Summer Pizza Ticket Party Dates
Any
student who collected 16 or more tickets during June and July may
attend a FREE pizza party! In order to attend the party, please have
your tickets turned in to the office to sign up by Wed. August 24h. The
Broad St. party will be Mon., Aug. 29th from 6-6:40 pm and the Business
Campus Drive party will be Sat. Aug. 27th at 12 noon.
*You
must be an enrolled student in order to attend the pizza party. If you
are a Summer Program Student, and you did not continue with the program
at the end of July you are not able to attend this party.
Closed for Labor Day Weekend
We will be closed at both of our location on Sat. Sept. 3rd, and Mon. Sept. 5th. We hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!
